Everyone reacts to stress and traumatic experiences differently. While some have reactions that can be seen as normal responses to life events, others may experience signs or symptoms of more serious conditions.

47th MDG Mental (Behavioral) Health Services
Our facility offers the following mental and behavioral health services:
- Primary Care Behavioral Health
- Open to all 47th MDG patients regardless of active duty status
- Crisis Intervention
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Substance Misuse Education, Prevention, and Treatment
- Family Advocacy Strengths-based Therapy (FAST)
- New Parent Support Program (NPSP)
- Psychological Testing
- Unit Outreach Services
The 47th MDG offers Mental (Behavioral) Health services to active duty service members, with all other beneficiary categories being seen at the 47th MDG on a space available basis. The one exception to this policy is the Primary Care Behavioral Health Clinic. This clinic provides services to all 47th MDG beneficiaries, regardless of category. All beneficiary categories except active duty service members will most likely be referred to the local TRICARE network for all other mental health services.

What TRICARE Covers
TRICARE covers medically and psychologically necessary mental health and substance use care. This includes both inpatient and outpatient care.
