47 MDG Mental Health Services
Our facility offers the following mental health services:
- Primary Care Behavioral Health
- Open to all 47 MDG patients regardless of Active-Duty Status.
- Crisis Intervention
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Substance Misuse Education, Prevention, and Treatment
- Family Advocacy Strengths-based Therapy (FAST)
- New Parent Support Program (NPSP)
- Psychological Testing
- Unit Outreach Services
The 47 MDG offers Mental Health Services to Active-Duty Service Members with all other beneficiary categories being seen at the 47 MDG on a Space Available basis. The one exception to this policy is the Primary Care Behavioral Health Clinic. This Clinic provides services to all 47 MDG beneficiaries regardless of beneficiary category. All beneficiary categories outside of Active-Duty Service Members will most likely be referred to the local TRICARE Network for all other mental health services.

What TRICARE Covers
TRICARE covers medically and psychologically necessary mental health and substance use care. This includes both inpatient and outpatient care.
